Anyone watch that show? I think it's great! Maybe I identify with it TOO much having gone to engineering school and know a LOT of people just like these guys. Tonight a guy went to a halloween party dressed as the dopplar effect. Too funny. It's a classic sit com format, which frankly there haven't many good examples of lately, so it's a nice change!

Yeah, Benny. Both the wife and I really enjoy that show.(Judie especially)
The episode where the one supernerd loses his job after insulting his new boss and then goes stir crazy sitting at home until his mother, played by Laurie Metcalf, arrives to get him back on track was hilarious.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

And here I thought this would be an intelligent discussion of scientific theory.... and it's just a tv show.

Surely if the Bing Bang theory takes place in a Vacuum it would be an implosion rather than an explosion thus it would be Gnib Gnab theory ?????

Great show......very funny nerd humor. Oh, and how about Kaley Cuoco for a neighbor? Doesn't get much better than that.

You're thinking of the ybsorc Gnib theory !
looks like we're getting it in the UK on Channel 4 at 10 next Thursday.
If you do it today you MIGHT regret it. If you CAN'T do it tomorrow you WILL regret it.

The misses and I were discussing this subject last night, maybe I should bring it up again with her. It is a subject I never tire of discussing.

Hey Brummie! Evidently you haven't been keeping up with the latest scientific thought here. The Ybsorc Gnib Theory, which was only part of "The Big Crooner Theory" WAS in vogue a while back, but after Perry Como, Robert Goulet, and ALL the members of The Rat Pack died, it quickly fell out of favor!

According to his son Gary Crosby (for whatever that's worth), that was Bing's parenting style

Yeah Bill! And THANKS in large part to Gary spilling the beans about Bing's Big Bang Parenting Theory in that book o' his, a whole movement to ban parental spanking came about, and thus ALL the problems parents have today in disciplining their kids can ALL be traced to THAT! (well, I have to admit that The Joan Crawford Theory had a little to do with this rash of modern juvenile deliquency TOO of course, but it's STILL kind'a the same theory, ya know)

Why is it kids always wait till the parent is out of the way to suddenly speak up about alleged abuse. We had the same over here. A well known Glaswegian comedian no names But there is really only one ...waits till his father is dead and whoosh he was an abused child.
The parent dies and suddenly a new Biograpghy appears detailng some scandal. I dont mind folk working hard making some money but come on how many so called celebrities / siblings are rubbishing deceased parents just to make a shilling.
My old man he isn't perfect he liked his drink a lot, he gave me a hard time growing up. But he would have walked through ****** for me.
So no way would I rubbish his name he did his best for me sometimes he was right sometimes he was wrong. He was and still is my father and one of the best guys I know.

if it's who I'm thinking of, I lost a lot of respect for him after reading his biography written by his famous wife which was an exercise in name dropping even including her 'Royal' NZ connections.

If you do it today you MIGHT regret it. If you CAN'T do it tomorrow you WILL regret it.

Our favorite was "Pushing Daisy's", real classy family oriented, high quality in our opinion...Went off the air during writers strike though...should be coming back we hope...The narration is priceless.

I thought this was a thread on why our bikes backfire on start-up if you twist the throttle first.

No I meant Big Bang is confirmed
There are a lot of theories about the backfiring around here that could be called a big bang.
