The hardware on Mexican or American Fenders is ALL junk. The only production-line Fenders worth owning are the American Vintage line...the hardware is quality, but you still have to swap out the crap pickups. American Standard and American Deluxe are pretty much just as bad as the Mexican series. Don't waste your money.
