Black with gold pin striping, you're already half-way there.

I was thinking of continuing the blue on to the rear fender from tank and wanted some on the bags also. I just don't know how to tie it all together.

Off Topic: did you have any problems with your hardbags hitting the caliper on the left or the chain guard on the right? Did you have to add spacers?

Caliper no, chain guard yes. Added some spacers,I think they were 3/16 thick.

How about incorporating blue flames the same color as the tank and style as the clutch cover outlined with a fine thin gold line. It wouldnt be to much blue thus not overpowering the black and at the same time allows you to maintain the flame theme.

Yep, gold pinstriped ghost flames on a solid black tank with echos on the hardbags and the rear fender.

Nice Cycle! If you want another opinion. I would use the blue sparingly and not worry about the fender. If you do the fender just put dual blue stripes down it so it matches the tank. The luggage need something that starts at the front down at the halfway point and sweeps over the top running a little over into the sides. Trying to connect the 3 areas may look ackward and if you remove the luggage the connections will appear to go nowwhere.

Well my dear wife came up with this "simple is better keep clean" she said. The new plate is the main reason for repainting the fender. [image][/image]

Simple is good. You can run those stripes up the front fender as well.

I am an artist by trade and I think the simple lines are always the best. Follow the lines of the tank toward the rear fender, as you show in the last and I think you'll have one very nice look.

Boogieman did somehting similar on his rear fender. Of course, he had the black areas resprayed with metal flake.

Yes, thats the look I want. To me the stripes on tank go nowhere and end at the seat don't look right.
