Hey Mike F, here's the Peter's Inn info

Nice spot, Fell's Point. The owner rides a Bonnie.

Speaking of Fells Point and the Battle of Baltimore, anybody know the story of the original Pride of Baltimore? One of the coolest B-more stories.

Thomas Boyle was the captain of a privateer schooner called the Chasseur. During the war of 1812, the British declared the entire United States under blockade even though they didn't have near enough ships to do it. Boyle thought that the height of bad taste, so he sailed for England, sent a cutter in and had a note nailed to the door of Lloyd's of London declaring every bay, stream, river and inlet in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland under blocade by the Chasseur.

He proceeded to embark on the most succesful privateering cruise of all times. He could out gun any merchantman and outrun any British war ship. The best thing is, he would actually take the time to re-flag every boat he boarded with U.S. colors, then hop off and flee, as often as not with the sales of the Bristh Navy on the horizon and heading his way.

By the time he got back to the states he was already a legend, there were songs sung in Taverns from Boston on South and The Chasseur was hence forth known as The Pride of Baltimore.

Bad @##%!

Wow, that was a long winded off topic post.
