Plug chop is totally unnesisary , you can ride normally and when you stop check them. It takes time to color plugs,if you doubt this put a brand new set of plugs in and run it a short distance and pull them, they will still be white.(I'm not talking miles) If you suspect a mid range problem ride the bike around for awhile at mostly 1/2 throttle give or take then when you stop check them,same with any throttle position but you can just stop normally it really won't effect the plug color.
