I finally got the details (costs and provisional space) sorted from the camping site.

Both the camping site and the hotel are in the town of Iseo ... on Lake Iseo.
The camping site is a pretty organised complex, approx 400-500 metres in a straight line from the old town of Iseo.

Sassabanek Camping site - Lake Iseo.

Price per 'place' which is for 2 tents is 14 Euros per day (with electricity).
So, lets call it 7 Euros per tent per day.
Then it is a further 7 Euros per person per day plus 3 Euros per motorcycle.
The 'places' I have provisionally booked are near the small 'canal' leading onto the lake (see website and picture on the Official Euro-rally thread).
They are also approx. 20 metres from hygiene facilities.
Nearby (within the campsite - circa. 30 metres from 'places') are also a pizzeria, mini-market and swimming pool.

The hotel Ambra is right on the main square of Iseo approx. 20-30 metres from the lake's water.
The accomodation costs are 68 Euros per twin room per day incl. continental breakfast (official rates are 98 Euros) - All rooms are lake view.

Ambra Hotel - Lake Iseo.

I will be sending both an initial deposit on Monday but will require final figures of participants by end of Feb.
If someone cannot commit by then, it is not the end of the world, just give me some indication so I can bear it in mind and prepare accordingly or perhaps
request some 'places' or rooms 'on option' - (Please remember we are hitting them at the very peakiest of the peak of their peak season).
In such a case I will do my best to secure accom., it's just that I will not be able to guarantee it and may need some heavy artillery.

Names please ... let's do it!

I am already daydreaming

No I don't think Malc will come on his own, a long ride to meet everybody on your tod. It was something I was planning to do, unfortunately my cousin in London is getting married and we thought my mother was just invited, turns out M and I was invited.

Yeah, but just cos you are invited, don't mean you have to go!!

Can't you get them to change the wedding date - after all, the Euro rally is more important!!

I would have loved to ride down to this, but the dates clash with the week of my family holiday. Very frustrating as I will be in Italy, but unfortunately the other end!!

Yep, fingers crossed.
I notice you have The Carlise website as your homepage!?

I hadn't been there for yonks, but found myself in there briefly on Hasting Bonfire night last year.
Hasn't changed much has it!!

A strong constitution was required to brave the gents!!

Good to see places like the Carlise still exist though.

Is Tank still about?

Do you get to any of the other local haunts, Six Bells?

Glenn

Before I semi-finalize arrangements, are there any "maybes" that should be taken into consideration?

Please post here or PM me.

Nick,

Its a shame that there are not more people attending from the UK - only 5 bikes at the last count

Come on people, make an effort / commitment - you can't say you haven't had enough notice!!

Is it august yet??

Yes, We're trying to get Thanassis to sign on for "logistics" for one of our N. Rockies/British Columbia jaunts, but sadly our motley group doesn't follow direction very well
