Some people should just never work on their motorcycle.Like the ones that want to use a Channel lock plier,or Cresent wrench,or better,a pipe wrench,on most everything.Their best socket set is the Alltrade brand in sixteen point. They own only one large screwdriver and use it mostly for paint mixing, but it can be used on the motorcycle if the dryed up paint is beaten off with their only hammer, and it's a small framing hammer, whatever that is? Their entire tool box full of all the tools they own,can be carried outside by their six year old son.Or folks that try to check their engine oil level while the bike is running. Or who have an owners manual, but have yet to read it.Who tighten the spark plugs until they cannot tighten em anymore, don't want them little buggers to come loose now do we,and used that pesky framing hammer to close up the plug gap, cause they suspect the gap is to wide.Who are a quart short at their first major mechanical accomplishment,an oil change, and use a quart of ATF to top off, that their next door neighbor gave em.Jim the next door neighbor says he uses it in his engine to keep the sludge down. That way he can use that sixty-nine cent a quart recycled oil Wal-mart sells. He also suggest reusing the oil filter after washing it out with kerosene.Who have never owned an air gauge, and never will, just fill her up til the tire looks full, you can tell cause the sidewall does not bulge anymore.Who will never own a spare fuse cause they found out you can use a peice of aluminum foil as a patch instead.Who's idea of a good wiring connection is stripping the wire back real far so you got lots of bare wire to twist together, and use half a roll of masking tape to make a water tight connection.Who never learned lefty loosens, righty tightens.Wait a minute,is that your left, or my left,or is that with me on the right side or left side, behind or in front of the bike? And remember you can always pull harder or get a bigger framing hammer, whatever that is? Who's air filter is tens years old, cause they just keep blowing it out real good with compressed air.And the wheel just keeps turning on and on. Al
