If they ever do bring it back, I hope they do a better job than Subaru did on the Brat. I like the concept of the Brat, but the execution left something to be desired, IMO. They did good jobs on the Outback and the Legacy, but seem to have missed the boat on the Brat. Well, who knows, GM finally seems to have hit the mark with the new Malibu, mabye, just maybe...

The newer Subaru Bajas are probably closest to being a Camino, Greg.(maybe) But, seeing as how a body-on-frame automobile is becoming pretty rare nowdays, as the GM A-bodies were, I doubt GM would go this route again.

But even if they did bring out a new El Camino, I doubt with these young pup car stylists today infatuated with the boxy squared-off "industrial look" they seem to be, that any new El Camino you might see at your local Chevy dealer would look NEARLY as good as these older beautifully contoured ones were!

(kids today!!! what the heck do THEY know anyway...HUH?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
