It's quite a capable commuter, lots easier to lane split on than the TBA/SM's due to the narrow bars, in fact it felt a lot like travelling back 20 years to my first bike - a honda CB100 (just with a LOT more grunt). If you just want a cheap daily run-about to zip round the burbs and CBD you'd probably find a lot cheaper bike that'll do the job just as well in a 3-5 year old japanese one. Have to say, I -did- get a lot of comments in the 24 or so hours I had the Bonne, but I was REALLY happy to get back on the TBA again.
