My "brand X" bike is fuel injected. The advantages and disadvantages are about equal with a carburetted engine. Injection is less fuss to operate and is noticeably smoother. On the other hand "rejetting", a home job costing maybe $10 with carbs requires a new software download that will cost 10 or 20 times that.
So, if you like tinkering with your bike, buy now. If you want less bother, wait.
