Hey Ben, Ben here too.
A chrome or stainless one will definitly look better/cleaner. The plastic one is on there so tight it actually bends a teeny bit. Just take the time to take the side covers off and familiarize yourself with how it all goes together in there, then you will know how it will look if you ever remove the side cover for the Freak or whatever.
