Actually we're taking a trip this month. Not really a honeymoon, but it'll be fun.

From Now. So far 86 registered users on the official web site( http://www.armchaircommando.org/bennington/BenningtonTriumphBash/Home.html ). Plus guests should put it well over 100+ people and bikes.

Would anyone mind if a couple of Florida folks join in? Mr. and Mrs panman60 (Tom and Ghrahm) have been arm twisted by Mark to change our schedule....(wasn't too difficult, that's what schedules are for!) We would leave Chattanooga area Monday/Tuesday and head NE.... .... no I-slabs. What's the camping availability?

later, Tom

But, what do I know?

I'll PM you later with all the camping info. I have it all on my computer at home and I'm at work right now. The gist is though that I found a campground that is fairly close to Bennington that has extra large sites. With the extra large sites you can put as many tents as you'd like and the cost is $8 per person per night. I'll be camping, there's atleast one other confirmed person that I met on the Bash fourm that's planning on camping so it should be alright.

I think we are close to 100+ bikes with more people as some are riding double and bringing friends. Some of us from here are going to be there Thursday.

Man, I'm trying to make it, but I'm holed up in Chattanooga at a friends rec center. Seems I didn't just bruise my toe getting ready for this trip.... I'm the lucky recipient of gout I had a slight problem with my toe a year or so ago and attributed it to the cheap sneakers. This time was much worse... I can't get my foot into my boots, so I'm loading up on cherries, cherry juice and soaking my foot. The first three days on the road, I just gritted my teeth and stuffed my foot in the boot and I think that worsened the condition. Did some web surfing and came up with the new diagnosis and treatment, since I'm unemployed and have no health coverage now... At least I have a couple of rain days to wait thru now for my toe to get better.... And it is nice to be stuck in a nice place with friends! Hope this heals in the next day or two, or we won't be able to make it..... DRATS!

later, Tom.

But, what do I know?

BIG OUCH!!! I hope you heal up and make it!
(I'm into the whole herbal healing thing....I think I read somewhere celery is another herbal remedy for gout?)

Maybe next time buddy.
Anyway, we're still planning on heading North Friday am.
Weather looks ok for fri and sun, might get wet on sat.
Oh well,
