In SW PA everyone has at least one. In the community I grew up in there was a host of odd AKAs. Some of my favorites;

Boots
Rat Cheese
Moots
Boowie
Bing
Lefty (who wasn't)
Spaniard (who was)
Bull
Wink
Rubber Man
Tractor Mike (who actually drove a farm tractor and never had a car)
Fuffer
and my all time favorite - Machine Gun Mike (who didn't have a gun)
I was Dirt, later became Spaz,and now answer to either.
