What I get out of these "origional fan base tours" i.e. recent examples ; Little River Band, 3-Dog Night, Eagles, Van Halen, Rush, etc....is the flood of memories from (ick) the 70's and how I wish I had paid more attention of the things around me instead of being in such a hurry to get out of college and secure the mortage, 2-kids and wife...not that the 2-kids aren't fun and the wife ! 25yrs and ain't tired of it
but you are young once and thanks to these, contemporaries, old dudes still rockin'...it gives one last gasp before they HAVE to retire...but who knows, look at the Stones....proof that "ever-clear" works as an embalming fluid and one can go on forever !
Life is a Highway...ride it !
