Er...
Dwight?
You know that with those women around we'll have to use the toilet, instead of just whippin' it out off the patio, don't you?

And you others, If anybody is going to ride that is, I'll be leaving Vegas on Thursday, if you want to ride with.

Yeah???!!!

Well I'll tell ya Bill...the FIRST dude I catch doin' THAT into the catch-basin of my new water-effects waterfall which flows next to my brand new patio behind the house, will be utilizing the same method as the ladies use "by necessity" from THEN ON OUT, big guy!!!

This ought to be a very interesting trip. Of course being a former Airman, I'm used to being around rude and crude, but do draw the line at watering the landscape without use of city utilities. Of course, when it comes to beer, give me an Imperial, or Dos XX, something foreign. Of course, the beer is AFTER the ride.

Hey Bro, If you're going I'm going. Let me know.

Also, if time off your dayjob for the long ride from Portland an issue. I wonder what it would cost to ship your bike and you could fly to San Diego and we could ride to AZ together.

Just a thought.

You'll definitley know if I will be able to make it or not.

It's either ride there or don't go. I figure we could meet up in Bakersfield or Barstow.

We should have a nice variety of good import and domestic craft beers there.

And don't worry AmyLee, we're not really rude and crude.
Well, I'm not anyway.

Actually, a swell bunch here.

Well, I don't post much but I do live in the valley so I guess I fit Becky's description. I have the date on my calendar. It is the busy time of year for me (with finals and graduation the next week) but if I can't break free to come up on Friday afternoon, I'll make it on Saturday (probably not early enough for the Canyon though) and shoot the breeze and head back on Sunday. Look forward to putting faces to all of these names I have been reading for so long. Dan

Since I was the first to start whining about this, you know I'll be there. I'm trying to talk Eddy into coming this way so we can hook up for the run across the desert. (the more the merrier.)

Ok Dan - here's what ya do....pack the bike Thurs night - go to school on Friday, and then get outta there at a reasonable hour and head up to Prescott - If you leave by 4 pm we might hold dinner for ya - actually I'm sure you would arrive in time for dinner! Since these guys like to sit around after a days ride and talk about it, inspect all the bikes and drink a few beers before dinner!!

AmyLee - beers are certainly after the ride, and I'm make sure we have some decent Mexican beer - I like the Dox XX amber!!! And these guys aren't really too bad - they just like to talk it up.

Pipe-pipe-pipe from Colorado...

Sorry I've been remiss in keeping up. Just had sentencing on a couple of trials (Nov) and mid-Jan, first degree attempted murder, first degree attempted murder on a peace officer, second degree attempted murder on a peace officer, first-degree assault x 3. A bad week on meth equals 222 years. Proof that one of the functions of sentencing is deterrence? We'll see.

Anyway, since I've got my life back, we'll see you there.

and Becky, don't forget to put the seats back up when you girls leave...

I'm thinking of playing safe and planing on three days to get there and three back. It's only about 1300 miles for me. Maybe I'll try two to get there and four to get back.

I may be bringing my wife and daughter down. Seems the only sure way to keep my wife from changing my mind. So I am going to try this tack!

On tour days especially to the Grand Canyon, If there is someone who may want to travel by vehicle, my van will be going if my wife has it in her to make the trip...after the trip down. We'll have to play that one by ear. Health issues.

Hey Dwight, I haven't seen (OK, read that as I haven't looked!) but are there any shirts / patches for this shindig?
Imagine flying over 5000 miles and driving 300 miles * or so and not get a shirt to show off when we get back home!!

*Stuck in a car with cold drinks, music and air conditioning!
And pity poor Wendy having to put up with my crap jokes!!

If twelve days didn't separate this Rally from the Georgia Rally I would ride Cinnamon Girl 1900 miles West. I've always wanted to head West! Given the distance, 7 days would be the time shift. Allowing for the 5 days to roll on the Mother Road. Departing the Southwest Triumph Fest I could see me heading up to the Black Hills. Dang. Someday...

Never thought about it that way. Maybe we need to invent an IronDwight award for putting up with him more than two days.

Sheesh! His wife would qualify for sainthood.

Oh yeah...I'll have T-shirts alright. And this year I'm getting a few more XXLs, maybe a few XXXLs!

I learned my lesson last year...there be a few more "big boys" there than I expected last year, alright!(though in their defense I also noticed that the brand of T-shirt I used tended to run a mite small)

(and BTW Soren...Those were NOT Roman Numerals up there...those were T-shirt sizes!)

if i get a baby sitter and a few more conservatives to ride with, maybe we'll show ( me and wife ). I just don't want to show up and it be like real time with bill maher. Maybe some of the old Florida boys will ride out ( phil, moe, anyone up for it )

Dang. Someday...

Next year, Moe! Next year!

(I mean...you see them fellas very freakin' year back there, right?! I think it might be time to meet some folks out this way maybe?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
