This is the first tim I've seen these style of coolers and I love the way they look, may have to look at getting a set next winter.
But from what I've seen from the pictures, the individuals that claim to have no issues seem to have their coolers angled off to the side a bit rather then having them directly in front of the vertical supports. Which makes sence, this allows air to more effectively pass through the coolers reather then passing through and meeting a wall on the back side causing resistance (a piece of cardboard on the back side of the cooler is just as effective on the front side in your car in the winter).
