Well guys, as some of you know I've been running REAL hot with that oil cooler. So I brought my stock cooler up to Pat's last weekend and we switched it back to stock (well the oil cooler is stock anyway). After some tinkering with the washers, it's running fine, no leaks, and averaging about 40 degrees cooler. I ran a solid 225 deg all the way up doing 80mph. On the way home, I did more like 85/90 and might have hit 190 tops. I think that performance oil cooler is a good idea, but I think the "turbulator" in the tubes needs to turbulate more, maybe some sort of spiral design so the oil stays in there longer. That and longer hoses (with something other than A-N fittings) would allow the tubes to sit farther away from the header pipes. Needless to say, I have it laying around if anyone has access to hoses or something and wants to give it a try, you're more than welcome. I also know a couple guys wantes my stock cooler for chroming or to replace a leaky one, but sorry guys, I need it now!
