Thanks, Yes I fitted the indicators myself. I ordered all of the lights from bellacorse. To fit the indicators you just have to drill the holes in the side and space the indicaors out a bit with tube. I used an old shower rose (chromed copper pipe) but stainless would also work OK.

The lucas light fit OK, but you have to make some wedge washers to tilt the number plate up a bit otherwise it rests on the fender.

Man Runner, fantastic job! The more I get into customizing the small things on my bike, the more gutsy I feel about doing things like chopping the fender. Seeing the process from start to finish is very impressive. Out of curiosity, but not wanting to stir the pot, now that you've bobbed the fender do you think you will lower the bike at all? Its one of the issues I'm considering as I think about eventually bobbing the fender.

Yes thats ok, I did think about doing that but then went with the centre fill option simply because it looks better with the spinner 3 prong gas cap. Cheers,

I have already lowered the bike 1" front and back. You may have not recognised it because I have used ICON rear shocks which look very similar, but perform much better and are 1" lower. Cheers,

I am planning on doing the offset gas cap. I put the new tank on my bike, leaned it on the kickstand, then used a level to indicate the highest point, front-to-back and side-to-side. Just got to get the bung welded in and the other areas filled in. I've already got an aluminum Monza flip-open gas cap.

I think the position of the cap is all relevant to the type of cap used and the paint job you decide on. An off centre gas cap certainly makes it easier to get maximum gas in while on the kick stand, and it will look great with that Monza gas cap!

What colour paint wil you do with the Monza cap?

I'm doing a british racing green color scheme. The cap will stay brushed aluminum. I had a chrome one but the quality of the chrome sucked worse than Triumph chrome to I exchanged it.

The black forks really bring it all together.

Yes the laws are fairly strict over here, but you can mount the licence plate in other locations. I like where I've got it but it also has the benefit of not 'attracting' police attention. My motto for this build was to clean up the look of the bike, make it look classic but not modified in the eyes of the law.

The mirrors are Zodiac, kind off a bit small but they will stay for now. I plan to get some metal round / oval classic mirrors soon.

The risors are 6' Zodiac.

let me know when youre buying mirrors cause ill buy them off you right away if the price is right.

I meant the seat is hurting the overall look of the bike. Everythings really fresh and new looking except for where the seat is...it lacks presence.

Oh ok, yes the seat is well worn in but I love it. I do wish I had paid for better leather to cover it. Maybe I will get one of Brents low seats one day but I just can't justify the $$$ at the moment.

I love the over all look of the bike I don't like the skinny drag bars but I don't mean that from the stand point of looks ,I mean it for my personal comfort. They look good with the rest of what you have done. Still impressed with your metal work.I like just about everything as far as to look at. You could bring that thing around here and show it at some local shows here and I bet you would get some trophies. But don't do that Wendy would get mad if yours beat hers! Not really she shows her bike and is a good sport if she wins she is happy but if she doesn't thats cool too since most judges in the shows we go to are the hard headed HD types and to them there is no other bike.
