Thanks Ed, it seems most comments regarding decals are keep it black with simple decals.

For some reason I am still thinking about keeping my eyebrow tank badges... I did have one consideration to an idea that was inspired by a bike in the horse mag, maybe I could cut Triumph lettering out of brass plate (1.2mm thick) and silver solder it to the tank, then paint black and file back lettering to brass and clear coat?

your thoughts on this anyone?
