Triumph Takes Another Quantum Leap
http://www.paddocktalk.com/news/html/mod...e&sid=75062

Quote:

Led by the perennial favourites, the America and Speedmaster cruisers, as well as the iconic Bonneville and award-winning Daytona 675 sportsbike, Triumph retailed 3203 machines in 2007 - the first time the Hinckley-based manufacturer has eclipsed the 3000-unit mark. Compared to the same period in 2006, Triumph grew by 16.4 percent in 2007 - or an increase of 451 units.

I know when you ride a particular bike you are prone to notice others of the same make. However having said that I see more Trumpys around now than ever before. Even where I live there used to be just me on my TBA and another bloke on his Thunderbird. In the past six months I've noticed that there's now another bloke with a blue TBA (obviously not as fast as my green one ) and at least one Bonnie.

I say Go Triumph!!!!!!

2004 TBA, Green, TOR's, AI and snorkle removed, K&N filter.

Around here, I am the only one around, that I know of, who rides a BA. The only other one took a deer out last fall. Within a hundred mile radius, I am probably the only one riding a modern Trumpet, and only a very few more riding an old Trumpet. I kinda dig the eliteness of it, but at the same time, I really miss the comradeship of fellow Brit Iron riders. Around here, it is almost always conversation that starts with, "I use ta have a Triumph". I wish a dealer would start up somewhere close so I could have some riding buds.

Looks like I was a help in the sales dept buying a 2007 Speedmaster. Go Trumpys
Rano it works on a colour scale system. The black is faster than the red and black, then red and then the green and so on
:-)

Still pretty rare to see another on the road but do see them occasionally. Not so sure about the articles claims about the accessories though; they are still pretty limited and the quality of some of the chrome accessories i have seen is very ordinary. All the accessories i have bought are non-genuine, though i would like to buy quality genuine triumph bits..

Triumph seems to be slowly gaining ground all over the world. Mr Bloor and his team have done a great job bringing back the company. I love the fact that Triumph is privately owned and Mr. Bloor doesn't have to answer to stock holders. May he live long and keep the lights on at Triumph for a long time.
