I have the sears lift and, while I've only used it a couple of times, have no complaints. The Sears website contains reviews of people complaining about blowing the seals, but I suspect they were using the jack to hold the weight of the machine for long periods, rather than putting it on the support bracket and taking pressure off the jack.
