OH...and I forgot to add, those Meriden Triumphs 650s with their stroke longer in dimension than their bore were undersquare in design, and a longer stroke engine would be more prone to vibration than an oversquare design would be, which most modern engine designs are today. Of course that causes higher frequency "buzz". And I'd also bet that this new bike here is oversquare.
And I'm guessing because pistons today are "squattier" and lighter than those on my '70 Triumph, there also would be less recipricating weight to cause this vibration.
