Its a really cool bike. That's the dealership I bought my bike from. Apparantly its quite a reasonable ride on the street too. Not that loud either. If I remember correctly its about $4000 to have this done to your speedy.

You know, that makes sense! The ultra mild exhaust timing on the 865 would make the most of a supercharger.
And, yes the carbs would have to be modified to deal with having an inlet pressure greater than normal atmospheric. It would be a bit like riding a stock bike in a bubble on the bottom of the ocean or on Jupiter.

"Affordable"
Uh huh. Didn't someone say the kit was going to be around $7k? And didn't they say that the kit was on hold for the EFI bikes?

I didnt know I had only 48 hp stock.Guess my minor upgrades to get it to 62 were cost effective.

I don't know what my max. hp is above 7,000 rpm, I'll be doing another dyno soon. I'm anticipating hp in the low 70s. The interesting thing is that the way my bike is now the dyno at 5250 rpm is showing 60 hp and 60 ft./lb. torque. That's the same hp at 5250 the turbo, super duper bike shows.
Personally, I think showing how much power you can get at 7500 rpm isn't a true indication of how strong the bike pulls to get there. I feel pretty good about mine and I compare it to others at 5250 to see a real comparison.
BTW, at 4000 rpm, my dyno shows 47-48 hp, the bike above shows 40 hp at 4000. I spent around $1200. to have my BB installed.

Turbo units tend to get hot, the placement of that one seems it would cause an engine cooling issue.

Actually, as I stated above the 904 will get you MORE power all the way up.

that kit is a waste of money. If you want a turbo talk to Jorgen.
