That video is moving too fast & grainy for my old eyes, but looks like the shifter is attached to something. My buddy was real adamant that the Triumph box wasn't designed to take the weight of a shifter or I guess the extra pressure from leverage of an unsuppored jockey shifter.

Just looked at it again and that shifter would be fine it has it's own pivot and a linkage forward to an arm on the shift shaft. As long as everything moves freely no problem.
