BAHAHAHAHAHAHA...wee biting scottish midges...I've lived in the Yukon and the mosquitos there are the size of eagles! They've been known to carry off small children that were left unprotected....and when they swarm, well, I've heard stories that would curl your hair, boys...full grown men sucked dry faster than a turboed America...I was hunting moose one year and I heard voices saying "You boys want to eat him here or take him back into the bush?" Well, I investigated and found myself in a clearing watching 4 skeeters the size of wolves gathered around a dead moose. I kept real quiet, and finally one of 'em says "we better eat him here...if we take him back in the bush, the big boys will take him away on us!"
