Has anyone been given or bought one of these bells?
The "legend" says:
Evil Road Spirits. They are vicious little demons! Turn signals ever failed to work? Maybe your battery suddenly went dead. Chances are the Road Spirits have hitched a ride. Road Spirits love to ride, but they can't hang in the presence of a bell. The constant ringing drives them insane, forcing them to lose their grip and fall to the ground. Ever wonder how potholes are formed? The bell has served its purpose.
If you picked up a bell of your own, the magic will work, but if the bell is a gift, the power is doubled and you know there is someone special looking out for you. When placing the bell on your bike, the closer to the ground, the better.
Has anyone heard of this, a friend gave me a bell, it's on the bike (cuz you can never have enough luck), but I haven't noticed to many others, so I figured its just a marketing gimmick, right?
