I recently took off all of my stock blinkers and brake light and attached a side-mount license plate with a Model A Ford taillight on my America. I wired everything up and made sure everything was working before I took a quick ride today in the cold. When I returned, the brake light and running light was no longer working. At one point, mistakenly, I turned on the turn signals and forgot about using my hand signals.
Could this have blown the fuse? Where are the fuses? Should I just take it to the dealer to work out this issue?
Thanks.

Fuses are under the right side cover above the battery. And, yes, you should double check the signal leads and make certain you didn't leave a hot and ground where they could short out when the signal switch is engaged...if it was me, I'd pull the signal relay as a safety anyway.

If it is a flimsy side mount vibration will also cause earky failure of a bulb.

It's one of those obvious things that are so easy to overlook, but the Model A had a 6 volt system. You did swap in a 12 volt bulb?
