Since its just a lether belt it was britty cheap to buy as well To prevent sand from comming between the lether and the fender (bad sandpaper effect by vibrations) I glued some rubber fringes under the belt. These fringes are used to prevent draft in windows. To prevent the tip from curling by rain and sun I glued a piece of thin metal under the last section.
