Normally, I suffer no shortage for words. However, my dear Don, all I can think about is being a loon with you!

right now it looking like it going to be a hotel/motel....
the Cabins cost more and i don't mean just a few bucks ..
we can get rooms at a hotel/motel for about $55.00 a night
the cabins cost $100.00 a night...

the hotel/motel will let us do alot
the camps will let us do nothing

so the the holel/motel is still coming out on top and the one were looking at has about 70 rooms so people can spread out and still do there own thing "privacy"

Nice!! I definitely like the all in one locale thing. Does it hinder the on-site food binge part of things?

Sounds great to me! This might be my last Rally for a while as it sounds like I may be heading across the pond for a year. Train up is supposed to begin in October and ship out in early January 09. Count me in!!!

I would love to give this a go if you accept "strangers"
Any idea which hotel you would be using?

You mean I gotta pay for this instead of sleeping on Pat's couch? Phhhtt...like I might be there. Anyway, hoping to make it this year. Last year my son was in town from California and I just couldn't do it. I felt awful since I've been at them every year since Pat threw his first. I'm not sure I'm counting the one Uncle Charlie and I went through all that Wild Turkey and Tullemore Dew in one night though. I'm not sure if being able to remember anything is a requirement for "being there". Not sure about Jenny...she's having shoulder surgery and will be imobilized for about 6 weeks. She wants to hold off til after Port Dover so the timing could be tight. Anyhow...hey to all my old friends and hope to make some new ones this year.

Pat and Matt...That'll be $2.00 apiece for the hot dogs and $3.00 for the beer the other day. So $32.00 plus applicable NYSsT. I'll collect at the rally and you can through down for Jenny's and my room.
