Yeah. It will be near Pittsburgh. You'll need to bring your own grape pie though.

2 things come to mind that are GREAT about da burg:
Primanti Brothers... Vincent's Pizza (home of the Vinnie Pie!)...
Although Vinnie has sold out to other parties. Only the one on route 286 still makes a good pie.
Women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs should just get used to that fact and relax

kenny ,kenny, kenny your getting up set over nothing.. as the rallys get bigger and bigger each year and harder for one persone to run or hold at there house ..and after the ride people really could not relax and have fun like they want because they had to ride back to were there staying.. so now we are having the rally at one central location ..meaning were we start the ride and end the ride is the same place we are staying at I put this ideal out there after the last rally and every one belives this is the way to go.. so i started looking at place to hold it some people thought the a park would be a great place so i looked at letchworth state park ... well not so they have way to many rules and the will not bend on any of them .. I belive i have found a place in the town of hornell ny... that is very willing to work with us I have talked with pat about this place he know of it and say it will work and there are some great roads to ride in that area and also this town is only about 40 min's from this year last rally. Ive been spoiled. The last few NE rallys have been within half an hr of my house. But I just want to add that the Hornell area is great. There are a lot of very scenic rides all around there. The last long ride I took this past year went through Hornell, and it was a beauty. Also, there is a casino about 45 minutes away, several state parks in both NY and Pennsylvania, and a lot of great roads. I think it’s a very good location, and I am excited about the prospects. I do have a soft spot in my heart for Hornell. I used to live in the southern tier of NY, and went there on my first date with my eventual wife...

I'm still working on conniving, I mean convincing , Jane to let it come back to my house, hard uphill battle though. Other then that, Ed and I have discussed the Hornell idea as well, about 25 miles south and great roads all around the area, think giant state park. Stay tuned to this bat channel for info.

I have had some interest in my property lately,if it sells and I buy the farm I am interested in I would be glad to host it. With the market going south I wouldn't hold my breath though.

What sort of "facilities" are there at this place? Having a locked hotel door is nice when you're worried about a drunked Yota stumbling into your tent to spoon.

Ed, The Hornell idea sounds most excellent for several reasons.. A. It's closer for us Pittsburghians... 2. We're all stationed in the same place - no riding back and forth from different hotel/motel rooms. III. You and Pat (read "Vicky and Jane") have made the sacrifice already. This way you can all attend the rally without weeks of personal preparation and expense. No setting up tents, coolers, barbecues, porta-johns, buying provisions, etc. And the planning you do is offset by the fact that you're 40 miles from home - you can go let the dogs out, replenish the pool chemicals, fire the maid, etc. without worrying about 47 drunken foreigners sleeping in your yard/basement/gutters. It sounds like a win-win to me.

As the dude that let the dogs out on more than one occassion, I'll agree with all said. You folks up yonder make a h3ll of a sacrifice for the pleasure of quite a few. It's time you get to join in the festivities.

Naples, New York, is the grape pie capital of the world. These dense and delicious pies are made with Concord grapes grown in the Finger Lakes region. Ed

If you are gonna head to Loon Lake, you have to stop at the Laf-a-lot. Its a little bar that I used to hit when I lived in that area. Cheap beer and a decent jukebox. Well, at least that was true 18 yrs ago.... Now I have this sudden urge to drive down and rate it again.

Got at least one good review.... the "pin" on the map on this site seems a little off. It's supposed to be right on Laf A Lot road.... Barry! A deck overlooking the lake! We can commune with our loon brethren! Laf A Lot review
