you almost never need to change the pilot.
I have the freak , 162 mains and wide open pipes , and I still
use the stock pilots.
too rich at idle will foul the plugs in stop and go traffic.
and may cause a stumble just off idle.
just a bit lean on idle will give you a crisper throttle responce just off idle.
