The principle is that a hotter exhaust header will help expel the burned gasses faster making the engine breathe better, not unlike stepped headers. Whether or not it would really work to any great advantage with our double walled headers is another matter but it could give an edge to the flow characteristics. Only the dyno knows for certain. It is a good "hot rod" look and I like it certain bobbers and chops.
