I know one of them is for the vent.

What are the other threee for? And is one of them supposed look like its leaking something greasy? Is that an oil vent or something?

Do you still have the airbox in place? Sounds like you do, if so, they're drain hoses for condensation/oil breather/so on, so forth. When I did the Freak, I yanked the hoses, and used the oil breather filter that came with the kit, and have had no probs.

Two on the bottom of the air box, one for the gas overflow and I believe the other is for the battery.

2 from the airbox, 1 fuel tank vent, and 1 is the crankcase breather and yes, it gets slimey....

More flags More fun!

ImOk,

Oh, come on! You're a smart guy!

Haven't you figured out by now, that because our BA and Speedies are so oil-tight, they put those breather hoses there in order to drop JUST that little amount of oil on our garage floors, so you will know that you own a BRITISH BIKE!

Geez! I can't believe you didn't know that!!!

Cheers,
Dwight

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Dwight, I had a Sportster before the Trump. So forgive me if my IQ is still lagging a little. But I am catching up. So look at out...
