My seat-of-the-pants dyno tells me about 1/8 horsepower...maybe a big bore kit is next? My seven-year-old son got this working model engine from my parents for Christmas. After putting it together with his "help," I'm pretty sure this was my father's revenge for that Richard Petty model stock car that I got when I was about six or seven. Cool project, but a little advanced for a 7-year-old. I had fun with it...and he's really proud of it. Will

I always wanted one of them. First for me when I was a kid, then when I tried to find one for my boy, I never could. gotta love that picture of your boy! Cool.

I too had the visible V8 when I was a kid. Also had the visible man and woman that you see the skeleton and guts in.

I submit G.I.Joe could'a been on leave at the time TOO, Your Honor!!! (did I just walk into a paternity case at this here courthouse???) BTW Will, good goin'!!! That kid o' yours will never forget the time you two guys spent together!!! (though, if I'm not mistaken, that there wiring looks suspiciously like it's a positive ground setup...you didn't happen to get this model from ENGLAND, did ya?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
