Now that winter has set in New England, the tickler hooked up to the battery. Question will any gases accumulate if TBA is covered by dust cover? Should I remove the battery place in the house?

If your battery is sealed like mine and it's just a trickle charger you should be fine.

You are not likely to have any problems. Many bike covers are vented to keep moisture from accumulating. Since battery charging emits hydrogen, if your's has a vent, it will all escape because it is very light. Most battery tenders don't supply enough current to create much hydrogen anyway.
