As I said before it's on my list, ours should be easier than his Daytona as I believe we can just pop the spade connector out of the multiconnector and attach a new lead (complete with fuse). If it's fused properly (maybe an AGC 25 amp) it should be quite safe and I'd like to think the rest of the fusing system would protect any other 'fragile" components.
