Great explaination from jj on the AI system. FYI, you can buy a AI removal kit that has all the plugs, etc. You can get it from your dealer and either you do it or have them do it. My dealer did the install of my SS exhausts and they remove ALL the AI systems when changing to less restrictive exhausts along with re-jeting. As I mentioned before the SS pipes come with a re-jet kit for the carbs.
