The Sceptres are plenty loud (just ask my neighbors). They look and sound great. I've heard the SS as well and they sound good, but are not quite as loud. Brent at newspeedmaster.com offers the Sceptres and provides outstanding service and I have heard Dale with SS provides good service as well.
