Put it this way....the only way you'll know if it's running or not is bt the tappet noise and gear whine ! the fav phrase for how thye stock twins all sound is "sewing machine" if that tells you anything.  Pipes are the first thing most do and there are many choices. Thunderpipes are pretty popular due to the no rejetting and big performance increase. You'll find plenty of info if you just read all the pages here in the exaust forum.
