Once I move the turn signals to the front fork, how do I cover up the wire shroud that I had to slice to move the wiring with the turn signals? Please send me email, darren.bean@us.army.mil Thanks.

I used woven stainless sheathing from the auto parts store when I did my hidden wiring.

I used the split plastic tubing from the auto parts store and little black zip ties.

I used black heat shrink wire cover from the local electronic store

The stainless mesh is kind of like a Chinese finger trap (they make different color nylon mesh too) When you push it together the diameter expands allowing you to slip it over the ends, then pull it and it shrinks tight to the wire. Then finish the ends off with a small piece of shrink wrap or tape or the fancy hose clamps with covers.

EDIT: You also have the option of taking the pins out of the plastic plug connectors then slipping the shrink wrap over the wires and then put the pins back in the connectors. This way you still wouldn't have to cut anything.

There is some tape from Auto parts store that is cold shrink tape,it seals to itself after removal of liner. Made in England and about $1.00 per foot, seems to have worked well so far.....

Why are you moving the wires? Unplug the signals and leave the empty sockets hidden inside the controls, then splice into the wires inside the headlight bucket. That way if you want to you can still put the signals back in the standard position later.

The only reason I can think of to actually remove that wiring is if you're relocating signals AND hiding the cable inside the handlebars. Then it's a case of "why relocate cables you're not using?". And that's not a bad idea to do at the same time - that way you don't have ANY black sleeves to worry about.

I'm guessing from your PM and this thread that maybe you don't have the light bar?
As you can see, with the lightbar, wires already come out fo the bar center and back into the headlight. We just route with those.
I did get that Kuryakyn Round-It wire wrap and it's good stuff. 6' section from JP cycles shipped is like $15 so I have plenty for other parts of the bike and my chopper project. I bought the 1/2" size, but the 1/4" size would be better for only running signal wires through:

I didn't post those shots for the light bar mounting but just to illustrate an example of the indiwinker wires and plugs being left up inside the hand control housing and the indiwinker wires being spliced in the headlight housing.

I'm guessing this is too late to mention for you MTNWarrior since you already sliced open the plastic coverings, but for anyone one is following with the same questions, this might be usefull.

If you followed the wires into the head light bucket, you would have been able to get you turn signal power from there without doing an ugly hack job and the tedeous job of recovering it up to you stock wiring. The main soucre wire that leads up the left handle bar to the signal selector is an Orange wire and then it comes back down into the headlight bucket as Green for left and Grey for the right. From the haed light bucket it will be rediracted to the right handle bar for the right turn and to the rear for both left a and right turn signals. I learnt this from disecting the wires to re-route them through the handle bars.

Also for covering new wires, I've installed Stainless Braid brake lines, throttle cables, and clutch cable so I wanted the wiring to look the same and found the cheapest way was to buy fuel or vaccum lines that are braided for show cars and remove the rubber hose from the inside. The down side to raaw stainless braid line is that it'll act as a file when it vibrates or moves along the painted frame, for this I covered it with a clear shrink tubing I picked up from a locale electical supply store, a hobby shop or radio shack may even carry it. The end result is a clean smooth and somewhat shiny finish.
