There is no question there is an overload of information here. I would also suggest reading through the operators manual (it has chain tension and may have lube info) and if you have basic mechanical skills order a service manual. Then keep an eye out in here for the tricks of the trade and options on oils, filters, mods, etc. I hope you got the red Speedmaster. They are faster.
