See ya in the evening sometime.

Just home too. Took a 240 mile detour today through Cleveland, Helen, Toccoa, Lavonia, Royston, Elberton, Washington, Athens, Bethlehem.

Beautiful state we have here.

Great to see everyone. Thanks again to those who made the rally work.

Home Safe! I know ya'll were sitting on pins and needles worrying about me. I turned South in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and watched "PES" ride off into the West toward Tulsa on his steel pony. Wondering about Gary and all the longriders from Canada, New England, South Florida, Michigan, Kentucky, Chicago and Louisiana. I pray their journey was as peaceful & enjoyable as mine. Thanks to Chy & Di, Larry and his bride of many years Cathy (what a doll), and to all the ride captains and tailgunners who kept us together, amazing job. Blessings to all - I hope ya'll feel like me, exhausted and refreshed.

Home safe and only got stopped once by a local sheriff outside of McCormick, SC (he was driving towards me and had rolling radar I guess). He didn't give me a ticket but said I was going 81 (55 limit) and told me to slow it down. Good thing I wasn't going REALLY fast.

Had a great time but I'm definitely getting the Speedie ready for rallies instead of the Daytona. I love the bike and still need much more twisty practice but the whole getting there and back on the bike is not as fun.

Thanks again Chy and Di!

Charlie, your friend that came back with you from Caruso's did she recover from her alcohol induced sickness? That was just too funny.

I rolled into my garage about an hour ago. 1200 miles in 17 hours...70.5 mph average. Helped things that I rode the first 600 without ever leaving the saddle and the same with the last 600. And the fact that once I hit New Haven, it was triple digits all the way in.

Had a great time...I miss you already, Gordon.

I am learning though not on the same level as my fellow squids Charlie, Mark, and Greg. Hit 128 for a brief stretch of hwy. 15 outside Blackshear, GA. She had tons more on the top end, but I was almost in town. tcv and I were marvelling at the 1050 all the way home. Until next time y'all.
