Ben and Tam said they will be here I love that girl too Yota. Ben is like another one of our "children". Gee Gordon, did you know that you such have a large family, even more brothers showing up and lil sisters here waiting for you (shari and angie) Ryan7771 should be in this afternoon PreRallytime = stress relievers I already have some great pictures and a short movie musicandorphanedBAbiketurningblue or lilmandbikewhispererplayingguitarsingingandbikehealing

I am sooo jealous of the early birds. I wanted to leave today but it's my son's birthday. I can't leave tommorow because there is no one to stay with my 87 year old Dad. Responsibilty sucks sometimes, but at least I'll get to see ya'll eventually on Wednesday afternoon.

Shoot, wish I could've gotten stationed here just a bit sooner so I could have made this run. Unfortunately I have to fly out to the west coast the Monday after and need to spend a bit of time with the lady (especially if I'm gonna try and get away for Memorial Day weekend). Of which, what events are going on in the mid-atlantic/souteast area? Suppose that needs to be a seperate post. ENJOY!

Well not that im excited, but We packed the bike tonight so she is ready to go. Have to work tomorrow, and Tuesday, after work on Tuesday Im going to get as many miles under me as possible then arrive sometime on Wednesday. Bikes filled up, fresh oil and plugs, ipods ready. Mapquest on the tank. All I need to do is quietly get through work these next two days and hope my used car Manager does not self destruct (He has been trying to get fired) and get the freak out of town. Georgia has been kinda of a dream of mine and every year something happens to jinx it,its why I have been kinda quiet about it. Alone on the road sounds awful good to me (though it would of been better if Suzie could of made the trip). So anyways see you guys in a few days and keep your fingers crossed that come Wednesday night I am sitting around the camp fire singing along with all you guys

Pete and a couple of his friends stayed in at the motel, that makes eleven here already. ....To be continued tomorrow, and yes I have more pictures (soon, when we have more time we hopefully can post some) Gotta go now and listen to some PreRally music.

Mark,
I will keep a good thought for Kimmy's quick recovery. She has time before Thursday and the rain should be moving out. A little sunshine may help.

Well then. We are in Cordele. I will say the r word. Rain. Rain is sweet. Rain is cool , rain is a beautiful thing. Especially when rolling north on 41. did the hog meal last night. Yes Golden Corral. Our rally started Saturday. From partying with the blue glow crowd in Sanford. to rolling North and West along roads we haven't been on in years. Heading to Cartersville today going to take in the Etowah Mounds and try to get a room at Red Top Mountain Lodge. That is after we roll into Macon and take a gander at the Big House...Don't tell Lynn that by the time we roll to Cartersville, well never mind. Rallies. It is the ride there the sights the folks the smells as much as it is being there. Now excuse me while I go pour some batter into one of those round molds. Looking very much forward to seeing YA'LL soon. I was born south of the PA border. thank you very much. The right side of that famous line... Sparkplug and points. that is hilarious. SO old he has to set the gaps on his points too. And that tiny little capacitor too. My word is that all there is in life? Good morning. Live life to the fullest everyday. God Bless.

Don't push it Chris, it's a long from Ohio to Georgia. It will be good to meet you. I dreamt about the Rally for 4 years before I got to go last year. All I can say is, you won't forget it once you go and then you will be hooked forever.

Kimmy about 40% now (Monday night)...She's got plenty of energy, just can't talk....that can be construed as a good thing...Moe just called, he and Lynn are just up the street here in Hiram, says they are looking for a Chiropractor for Lynn's back, then headed up to Red Top mountain in Cartersville...See ya'll Thursday night, we should be rollin' in, the 3 of us (myself, Kimmy, and Wade) around dark or so...Kimmy has to have a new tire on the front, and a change of oil for both...Thursday gonna be very busy.

Mark, hope she continues to get better soon. FYI... I am trying to steal Wade from you, I think I have him talked into meeting me in Conyers or Loganville Thursday AM and riding up together during the day.

Arrived this afternoon in Waleska, GA (about 47 miles from Dahlonega). Tomorrow's ride to Dahlonega however will take me at least 8 hours via Deals Gap (Tail of the Dragon), Cherokee, NC, NC-106, Wolf Pen Gap and then down to Dahlonega.
Hoping the the weather will be much better tomorrow!!

We'll meet at the same Chevron station.. just south of Dahlonega at the intersection of hwy 9 and Auraria rd. for our morning ride leaving at 1000 hours.. or 10:00 whichever you prefer. Friday nights dinner plans have changed as well, due to popular vote we'll be dining at Carusos on the square in Dahlonega at 1900 or 7:00 pm.

Just sitting here in Johnson City, TN in a buddy's place listening to some blues and sipping some bourbon. Ahhh, pure nirvana. I will be hooking up with Stewart and his old man on Wednesday and after a ride through the dragon we shall arrive. Oh, going to ride the Snake tomorrow. It is just gonna suck, I know it.
Ride On!
