Buddha sat under the Bo (Bodhi) tree for 48 days when he attained enlightenment.

This should never be confused with Robert M. Pirsig's 17-day motorcycle journey across the United States in which he explores the Metaphysics of quality. That trip gave birth to the 1974 book "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry into Values"

Dang , after 49 days of MEDIATION , I'm surprised he wasn't broke . I hired a mediator in Atlanta for 180.00 an hour for just ONE day and that hurt .
I'll have to MEDITATE on that

Wade, Wade, Wade

Sure it was a funny typo, but Buddha probably would have let it go. However, since we are in the mood for some Buddha related correction let's hear from the immortal Wanda Gershwitz:

"Let me correct you on a few things. Aristotle was not Belgian. The central message of Buddhism is not "Every Man for Himself". And the London Underground is not a political movement. Those are all mistakes, [Wade]. I looked 'em up."

Yeah Wade. Leave Di alone. If it wasn't for her and Chy we'd be holding the Bonneville.Com Rally in Adairville,KY where Yota lives, population 917. Meditate on that.

Bobby Trippe, an insurance salesman from Atlanta, is wearing the number 47 on his shirt.
This was Ned Beatty's first film role.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing everyone at the rally.
Shari you are doing a superb job with the countdown!

Thom had to take his eldest to her orchestra festival today and even though he could see the text clue on his phone he could not see the video.

However, the kids did come away with straight superior ratings and rocked the audience (including the judges) on their sight reading piece.

We are not the same person, but we both have excellent taste in web sites and motorcycles...

Me on the left........ Wade on the right (as you see it now) I was laughing at my wife struggling with the camera, Wade was a better person than me only smirked.

You know, Wade, when I posted that photo to prove that we were not the same person, it occurred to me that at least one of us (me) looked kinda old. I will fuss at Nina about the focus and flash since clearly this must be a camera related problem.

No kidding. It's great hearing and having a fresh perspective from the better half of the the Chy/Di team, or should I say Di/Chy team. Seriously, you and Chy are wonderful hosts. Most don't realize the amount of time and work that goes in to one of these Rallys. I know I don't.

ps: Yes, mert you do a great job with the count down. The reason I don't respond is because you are ususally way out of my league. I'll guess I have to start cheating and Google, like a certain computer programmer who shall remain nameless.

Well, since I am Thom (who has been known to use the amazing resources at my disposal to answer these wonderful, descending clues), I am going to say those are lyrics from the Elvis Costello song forty-five

Theres a stack of shellac and vinyl
Which is yours now or which is mine? - 45

Here is a song to sing to do the measuring
What did you lose, what did you gain, what did you win?
