Hi, just bought a new 2008 Triumph America. Have ridden mainly japanese before. Love the raked feel and it is now humming after it's 1st service. Comming into summer in New Zealand so looking forward to cruising.

Welcome. The bikes and this site are very addictive. I had a Triumph many years back then Japanese bikes. I was astounded how great it was to be back on a Triumph when I got my America in 05.

Welcome, I'm a newby also and the people here are very informative and extremely funny. Enjoy your America, Bonnie's are a blast to ride. I just started riding a Triumph TT600 and Speed Triple, I'm new to sports bikes, but they are lots of fun too. :0)

Riding motorcycles is a serious, sober business. There is scant margin for a bunch of Tomfoolery.

I came over from a Japanese brand and I've become addicted to the Triumph. Better start putting away some cash because you'll want to add some bling; and, welcome aboard.

That's what I'm doing...switching from Kawasaki to Triumph. However, I did own 2 Triumphs in the 80s.

Welcome from Pennsylvania in the USA. I have been on Triumphs for 30+ years as well and love them. Still have every one I ever owned! Enjoy and welcome to asylum.

welcome to the forum road470, give us a report on your '08, that would be fuel-injected over "yonder", is it not??? we do not have in states yet, next year they say.

Hmmmm, New Zealand. One of the few places I want to visit outside of the U.S. There and Australia.

I bought my 07 America about six months ago. Moved from a 03 Honda Shadow 600. Nice bike, but no where close to the Triumph. Have a great new year, ride safe and have fun.

Paw.
