Very nice Speedy MackDaddy. I follow your mods closely as you have tried lots of different things and the info you post here comes in handy.
Was wondering who made the seat and if it's made on a oem seat pan or not. Does the pan sit on the frame like oem with tall padding or is there some sort of built up riser it mounts on?
EDG
EDG,
I'm flattered.
The previous owner (Angelis) had it made. Looks like it's just additional foam added to a stock America seat pan. It's not pretty, but sure is functional. Fits just like stock.

Thanks for the info Jim. I'm going to see if I can get someone local to fatten up my stock gunfighter seat. I'm running a corbin now which is a vast improvement but it's a bit too wide and low. Regards, Eugene

Absolutely pristine bike mate! I must congratulate you on the photo quality as well - so clear! Not sure about the flyscreen and headlight shadything for a retro-styled bike but then, maybe that's an American thang! Hope to make heads turn as yours surely does, when I take delivery this weekend. I just know it's going to rain! Rob

Thanks Horse. Don't matter what your steed looks like, long as you're happy that's all that matters my brother.

Thanks Rob. Congrats on your new bike!!
The fly screen is gone, and has been replaced with a Memphis Shades Alley Cat. Function over fashion these days (i.e. I'm a big sissy.)

Back to stock QUIET long slash cut exhaust for now. They're actually not bad at all. With the carbs still jetted up a bit (TBS needles & 125 mains,) UNI filter & Norman Hyde intake bellmouth it runs really, really good.
I'm waiting for Brandon to get back from Bike Week @ Myrtle Beach. He's agreed to hook me up with a set of semi-gutted stockies. His fully gutted stockies sound good, but I know they'll be too loud for me in the long run.
U.S. Saddlebag Co. saddlebags & triangulated engine guard bar coming in on Friday. New pics soon! Here's another shot of what she looks like for the moment (i.e. I'm a pic wh0re)

You will love the usa saddlebags. I was wondering if you could show me a pic of your new shield from the front.

I really like what you've done with your bike. I just bought the '08, and now I'm looking for extras. I didn't think the Memphis Shades Pop Top windshield would fit the 07/08 SM. Did you make modifications? Also, who makes the short slant pipes from the pictures in April?
Thanks
Bob

Thanks man. I've got pre 07 non-tapered upper fork shrouds. Pop Top will not work on the post 07 tapered units. Short exhaust is by Emgo. They're WAY TOO LOUD for me... but had to try them. Current config:
