Yesterday morning, it turned out to be nice enough. All the snow from last week was long gone and it was supposed to get up into the 50's. We were going to have an early dinner and I was planning on a ride afterward. Well, we ran short on milk, so I drove down to the truckstop (only place open) for a jug. By the time I got back, we had an icy northwind blowing about 35 - 40 MPH, so the ride was out. It snowed maybe 1/2 inch last night, so I guess we had a technical white Christmas.
Let's hope there's intelligent life somewhere in space 'cause it's buggar all down here. -- Monte Python

High winds and snow will put a damper on any ride. I hate snow..

It snowed here yesterday for about an hour. I is the first time I remember seeing any snow here in the last 16 years that I have lived here. Nice change from just rain.

The bad part is that it hasn't snowed enough to try out my blade I got for the tractor to use for clearing the drive. It's almost January, winter's half done!

WOW compared to yall I've got it made...the high has been about 74 and the low this week was like 32, its nice to be in Florida. Only downfall is that there are no hills and blind turns here. :0)

You guys just have to find a way of spending your winters in Australia. Weather in Melbourne the last few days has been fantasic. 80 to 85 deg F and sunny...
