Chaps are without doubt the worst looking item of motorcycling clothing, on or especially off the bike. They are also the most practical and work great. I have a pair that I bought at a bike rally 10+ years ago, they still work great. They keep you warm and provide good crash protection in the event of a crash and slide (ask me how I know).
The other good thing is that you zip them off when you get to your destination. This way you don’t have to walk around in leather pants like Jim Morrison all day.
I just don’t get the tank top and chaps look? Thats a little too Village People for me.
