The chrome sprocket cover issues I was having wasn't with one I had already purchased they were that way right from the factory. I never did get a good one I gave up after 14 of them. Some were really bad some just bad. 2 had nice chrome but the casting underneath was screwed up, looked like someone got over zealous with a grinding wheel then chromed over it. It was on the bottom edge just behind the last bolt, probably wouldn't have seen it but I didn't like it. The rest all had a spot that looked like a blued header on the top in the little dip under the side cover out far enough that it would be visible. Only problem so far with any chrome on my bike is the tube in front of and between the jugs.
