This thread is exactly what I needed to see! I haven't been able to wear my boots when I ride since I got this bike. Wasn't able to get my toe under the shifter unless I was wearing low-cut shoes.
I had asked my dealer if the shifter was adjustable a few months ago. The salesman and the service manager had told me that it wasn't adjustable; just recommended the heel toe shifter, which I don't want. After reading this thread, I made the adjustment in about three minutes and it's perfect now. Thanks for the information; this site is awesome.
